Compassionate Leadership
When a leader encourages people to talk about their problems, provides support for others and encourages support of one other, establishes and facilitates close relationships in the team, creates a culture where helping somebody is the norm, leads by example by talking about their own problems/feelings, and leads with heart and humanity. Compassionate leadership is a form of moral and ethical leadership; it requires the courage to stand up for what is right, and is a skill that can be learned.
